LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE THEATRE!

Our workshop day is going to be virtual. We would like to offer some on-demand style videos made by our teachers to share with our District 8 Population on everything from Acting to Technical to History to Yoga. The videos should be 20-30 minutes. You can include handouts and paperwork and fun activities that students can do through social distance. We can’t wait to see you in action!!

1. Upload your video to our District 8 Workshop Day Google Form by Sept 1, 2020.
2. Make sure your audio and video are clear and well lit.
3. Introduce yourself and Title your video workshop.
4. Let us know what level your video is geared towards. We will cast to elementary through high school and educators.
5. Workshop Day will stream for a $6 registration fee from September 16-20, 2020.

The safety of our students,  troupe directors, guest artists, and their families is our top priority in FL Thespians. We are going fully Virtual this year for all festivals, Sr and Jr High. Our goal is to allow all Thespians in Florida the opportunity to participate, receive quality assessments, and stay active in their theatre communities, no matter what happens this year! Stay tuned for exciting updates next week on the structure of these festivals, and look for rule updates by mid-August. We are all one state, and this is only intermission.
